I have read 32 books this year (so far).

Instead of keeping all this newly found knowledge to myself, I decided to write about what I learned from these books so you don’t have to read them.

(I mean, you definitely can if you want to. Reading is great!)

However, if you don’t have the time or energy, here’s what The Happiness Advantage is about, what you will learn, and which actions you can take based on its lessons.

What The Happiness Advantage is about

It is about happiness (of course), and what it does to our brains, our jobs, and our lives.

What you will learn

#1 — What happiness is

Happiness is subjective, unique to the person experiencing it. It is best described as “pleasure combined with deeper feelings of meaning and purpose”.

#2 — Emotions change our brains

Negative emotions narrow our thoughts and range of actions. Positive emotions, on the other hand, enable us to process more possibilities, make us more thoughtful, creative, and open to new ideas.
